MRS. WILLIE MAE HAMPTON, was the daughter of the late Walter Harris and Lillie Mae Footman. She was born on September 9, 1933 in Orangeburg County. God was merciful and allowed her to suffer only for a little while before calling her home, but her story doesn’t end here. For she has now passed from death to begin a new life with Christ. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 31, 2020.
MRS. HAMPTON, was employed by the Board of Educa-tion in Brooklyn, NY as a custodian worker. Upon her retirement, she relocated to Orangeburg, SC.
MRS. HAMPTON was a devout Christian; she attended church all her life. She not only loved the Lord with a passion, but she walked out her faith daily. As a young mom, she faithfully raised all of her seven children in church. But she didn’t stop there. She also took her grandchildren to church and made sure they were baptized too. Her goal in life was to raise up a peaceful and loving generation of godly men and women. So together as a family, let us commit ourselves to keeping her godly legacy alive!
MRS. HAMPTON was preceded in death by her hus-band, Raymond Hampton and two daughters, Loreen Hampton and Willadean Henry.
MRS. HAMPTON leaves to cherish precious memories, her three sons: Raymond (Alice) Hampton, Jr. and Terry Hampton both of Orangeburg, SC and Larry (Janice) Hampton of Queens, NY; two daughters: Barbara (Omega) Rodriguez of Lebanon, PA and Gloria (Jess) Wil-liams of Staten Island, NY; one brother: Leon Middleton of Orangeburg, SC; three sisters: Annie Ruth Middleton and Charlese (T.
