Willie (Mike) Hayward was born December 25, 1968. To Joann Thompson and Sam Hayward. He entered into eternal rest on February 4, 2026, after a brief illness surrounded by loved ones.
Willie, affectionally known as “Mike”, touched the lives of many people. Mike met and married Marilyn Glover in 1992.
Willie (Mike) attended Orangeburg County Schools. After, he went to work for Food lion Warehouse, Cope Cotton Gin, and Franklin & Associates lawn service for many years. Willie enjoyed wrestling, music, spending time with family and friends, and especially his dogs. And we all know he was a Dallas Cowboy Fan.
Mike was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Willie and “Rebecca” Hayward, maternal grandparents George Quattlebaum and Almeter Busby. One brother, Woodrow Franklin, and one sister, Donell Wright.
Willie is survived by Sam Hayward (father) from Orangeburg, SC Joann Thompson (mother), Orangeburg, SC Marilyn Hayward (wife), Orangeburg, SC Felisha Fogle (daughter) from Fort Washington, Maryland. Stepchildren, Latoya, Martisha, Willie from Orangeburg SC. Beloved siblings Dener Franklin, Orangeburg SC, Jerry Franklin, Orangeburg SC, Gracie (George) Dantzler, Orangeburg SC. Two grandchildren La’Keyshia Fogle, and Tia Walker Fort Washington, Maryland.
A very special lifelong partner Elizabeth Bronson Orangeburg, SC. Two special stepchildren Ta’Nasia and Da’vonte Bronson Orangeburg, SC, and grandson Jeremiah Bronson. Host of nieces and nephews, cousin, aunts, uncles and friends.

The viewing will be held on Thursday, February 12,2026 at Glover's Funeral Home from 2:00pm until 6:00pm. 

The funeral will be held on Friday, February 13,2026 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 1:00pm.
