Willie Joseph Ulmer, Jr., passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021. He was a resident of Orangeburg, SC. Willie was born on November 4, 1964 to Willie and Hazel Ulmer in White Plains, New York. He was the Minister of Music at St. Matthews Baptist Church.
Willie was an employee of Claflin University and was attending Allen University where he was scheduled to receive his Masters in Religion and Philosophy in May of 2021. Willie was also a Lifetime Member of Kappa Alpha PSI Fraternity and a Gifted Musician.
Willie was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Alma Ulmer and his mother Hazel Ulmer.
Willies leaves loving memories to his daughter, Monae Ulmer, father Willie Ulmer; brother, Kevin (Dolores) Ulmer; sister, Davinn Ulmer and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and special friends.
The service will proceed as follows:
The viewing will be held on Monday, March 1,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home at 1:00pm until 7:00pm.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 2,2021 at Andrew Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations. Services will be streamed live on our Facebook Page Glover's Funeral Home of Orangeburg.
