Willie Burns, Jr. Obituary

Mr. Willie James Burns, Jr. son of the late Willie James Burns, Sr. and Gladys Beatrice Moore Burns was born on January 17,1943 in Orlando, FL. He entered into eternal rest on April 15,2023.  

Willie attended public school in Orangeburg and later on New York City. He served 20 years in the United States Army. He was also a Masonic member. 

Willie was a faithful member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Roswell, Ga.

Willie is preceded in death of his parents Willie James Burns, Sr. and Gladys Beatrice Moore Burns.

Willie leaves to cherish his fond memories are: his loving and devoted wife: Loretta Cain Burns; one daughter: Monique L. Burns (Antonio); five grandchildren: Antonio, Aaron, Austin, Amir and Amad Phillips; cousins: Renee (Bruce) Dantzler and Joseph (Thelma) Caldwell and a host of other relatives and friends.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Glover's Funeral Home from 2:00PM until 6:00PM.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning 12:00PM. All of those attending the services are required to wear masks and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
