William was born and raised in Orangeburg County. He began working at an early age to assist his parents in providing for the family. William started his employment in White Plains, New York where resided briefly. Later, he returned home and was employed by Orangeburg County where he held several different positions. He was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He enjoyed fishing, servicing cars, telling jokes and making people laugh. He especially loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, a devoted companion Flossie Givens, two devoted daughters: Margaret “John” Middleton of Santee, Linda “Odell” Johnson of Orangeburg, sons: Joel “Sharon” Bradley of North Carolina , Tyrone “Vikki” Bradley of Orangeburg, siblings: Carrie McDaniel of New York, Elizabeth “Charles” Bamberg of Branchville, Thomas “Stacey” Bradley of Orangeburg, Franklin Clay Bradley of New York, Clara Mae Bradley of Orangeburg, Jetty “Jimmy” Mays of Bowman, Betty “William” Edwards of North Carolina, Hayes “Mary” Bradley of Holly Hill, Thomasena “Willie” Berry of Orangeburg, sister in law Willie Dean Bradley of Rowesville, 18 grand-children, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The service will proceed as follows:
The viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 28,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 29,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 1:00pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
