Vivian Lorraine Green Little was the sixth child born to the late William and Viola Holman Green in Orangeburg, SC. She departed this life on December 22, at Harmony at West Ashley in Charleston, SC.
After completing the three primary phases of school, she attended South Carolina State University. There she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics.
After she met the late James Little, Jr., they fell in love, and the two were united in marriage on December 19, 1981.
As time progressed, they became parents of Saman Annabess, and James Little, III. They enjoyed traveling during the summers to various vacation destinations and were big SC State football fans and supported the bulldogs both at home and on the road.
For many years, Vivian was an exemplary employee of the Department of Social Services in Orangeburg. In 2009, Mr. Little passed away, but not before he met two of their grandsons, Jerome III, and James IV.
In addition to working diligently for the Department of Social Services, Vivian was also an exemplary member at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She was active in Inspirational Choir, Sisterhood Ministry, Youth Ministry and the Usher Board. She was an excellent seamstress, and assisted members of the Inspirational and Glover Choirs by making or repairing choir robes and uniforms when they were needed.
In her later years, she enjoyed studying her daily bread, spending time at all of her grandsons' multiple sporting events and various types of puzzles.
Mourning Vivian’s passing are her children, Saman (Don) Middlebrook of Charleston, SC, James (Ashli) Little, III of Lehigh Acres, Fl and her grandsons, Jerome III, James IV, Joshua, and Jeremiah; siblings mourning the loss of their sister are Lula M. Green (wife of the late Wiliam Green, Jr.), Henry H. (Jill) Green, W. Lue Green (Roman) Battle, Barbara J. Green (Columbus) Woodruff, and Linda M. Green (Morris) Jenkins; in-laws mourning her loss are Donald (Mary) Little, Pamela (Bernard) McDaniel, John (Melisa) Little and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Saturday, December 28,2024 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm-6:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, December 29,2024 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 1:30pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
