Virginia Louise "Strawberry" Murphy Morgan

Mrs. Virginia Louise Murphy-Morgan, was born on January 3, 1962 in Phildelphia to the late Dorothy Murphy Doyle. She was called home to be with the Lord on the morning of July 29, 2021 at The Oaks of Orangeburg.

“Strawberry” as she was affectionately known received her education from Phladelphia as well as Orangeburg, Public School Systems.
Prior to becoming ill in September of 2020, she completed several domestic jobs which included housekeeping. She found joy in helping others.

Proceding her in death are her mother, Dorothy Doyle; brother, Donte’ Doyle; grandparents, Pearline and Danie Murphy; uncles, David Murphy, Timothy Dash and Clarence Green.

Virginia leaves to cherish her loving memories; her husband, Barthaniel Morgan; two daughters, Shakeyia and Shareese Murphy of Orangeburg, SC; a step-daughter, Tsi Tsi (Sean) Oppenshaw of Las Vegas, Nevada; five step-spons, Barthaniel (Tammy) Morgan, Jr. of Pflugerville, TX, Meredith (Royan) Morgan, Joshua Morgan all of Washington, DC; a sister, Angela Haven of New Haven, CT; four brothers, Joseph Kelly, Roberty Kelly, Ronald Kelly and Jamil Doyle of Greenvilles, SC; three aunts, Pernell Doyle Murphy and Dianne (Melvin) Guinyard of Orangeburg, SC and Liz Collier of St. Matthews, SC; one uncle, Laverne Greene of Brooklyn, NY; a special friend who was like a sister to her, Ms. Joyce Hallmon of Orangeburg, SC; twelve grandchildren; three of who she helped raised and who loved her dearly (ZhaQuarie Baxter, Treyana Jamison and Noah Benjamin); and a host of nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Saturday, August 7 at Glover's Funeral Home at 4:00pm until 8:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, August 8,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 2:30pm.
