Tameka “Meka” Glover was born on November 7,1992 in Orangeburg, South Carolina to Veronica Glover Elmore and the late Nathaniel Bruce. Tameka entered eternal rest on May 17,2025 at the Medical University of South Carolina of Orangeburg.
Tameka was educated in the public schools of Elloree, SC; she was in the graduating class of 2010 from Lake Marion High School. “Meka” or “Meek Meek” as her family and friends affectionately called her was most known for her wittiness and joking sense of humor.
Tameka was proceeded in death by her father Nathaniel Bruce, grandmother Clare “Mae” Glover, brother Anthony Glover and a special cousin Syron “Dee” Shuler.
Tameka leaves to morn her precious memories: her loving mother Veronica Glover Elmore of Orangeburg, SC; three beautiful children that she loved and adored Ky’Shawn Myers, Kamiya Rouse and Livingston Rouse, Jr. all of the home; her siblings Rodney (Santana) Glover of Bowman, SC, Delvin (Narysha) Summers of Charlotte, NC, Eureka (Perry) Barefield of Lancaster, SC and Ashley Jones of Holly Hill, SC; a sister-in-law Gloria Guinyard of Orangeburg, SC; three nephews Kemondre Glover, Kemauri Glover both of Orangeburg, SC and Ethan Barefield of Lancaster, SC; four nieces Christine Barefiled,Eliana Barefield both of Lancaster, SC, Simoriaa Summers and NazariaSummers both of Charlotte, NC; a loving aunt Marilyn Glover of Orangeburg, SC; special cousins Latoya Jamison, Martisha Jamsion and Willie Jamison; godmother Annie Ottley ; best friend Kie’WuanWashington; a special friend Arbie Fennell and a host of cousins, uncles, aunts, family and friends that will miss her dearly.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Sunday, May 25,2025 at Glover's Funeral Home from 2:00pm until 6:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Monday, May 26,2025 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
