Mrs. Shirley Ann Pelzer Neals, daughter of the late Sam and Annie Mae Felder Pelzer was born on June 6, 1944 in Bowman, SC. She was called from labor to reward on Sunday evening, May 1, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Sam (Annie Mae) Pelzer, grandson: Travis Pelzer, three brothers: John Lawrence, Albert Pelzer and Willie B. Pelzer.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories a loving son: Chris E. (Donna) Pelzer, two grandsons: Shelton (Tiffany) Pelzer and Chris (Brittany) Pelzer, five great-grandsons: Omarion, Zachary, LaDarius, Marques and Raquan, three great-granddaughters: Zaria, Zaniyah and Journey, one adopted grandson: Rondell Glover, five sisters: Rose (Gene) Stanley of Cope, SC; Gloria Mobley of Orangeburg, SC; Eunice (Stanley) McMillian of East Orange, NJ; Elease Pelzer of Bowman, SC; and Taisha Sweat of Denmark, SC; one brother: Raymond Pelzer of Bowman, SC; two special cousins: Alma Robinson of Philadelphia, PA and John Larry Thomas of Bowman, SC; two sister-in-laws: Virginia and Priscilla, six aunts: Johnny Cox, Birdie (Lawrence) Berry, Willie Mae Primus, Alfreda Cadogen, Bernice Heyward, and Berthel Pelzer; one uncle: Booker T. Pelzer and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
