Sharon Denise Smith-Bruce

Sharon Denise “Neicey” Smith-Bruce was born in Jersey City, NJ on March 16,1959. She was the daughter of the late Loyd Buster Paige and Senetta Diana Smith.
Sharon received her education in the public schools of Jersey City, New Jersey. She attended Lincoln High School. She affiliated herself with Antioch Baptist Church early in life. She enjoyed sewing, reading, writing poems, spending time with family, helping others and she loved her family dearly.
Sharon departed this life Friday evening September 29,2023 unexpectedly.
Sharon preceded in death by her husband Nathan Bruce; father Loyd Buster Paige; mother Senetta Diana Smith and grandmother Maybell Garvin.
Sharon leaves to cherish her loving memories four sons: Riney (Janine) Smith of Jersey City, NJ, Kevin (Samantha) Smith of Irmo, SC, John Smith of Bowman, SC, Desmonde Smith of Orangeburg, SC; eight grandchildren: Ke’nasia, Bryasia, Ronkis, Serenity, Johntasia, Josiah, Kennedi and Kaydence; a very special friend: Blair Wolfe; special niece: Hafeezah Blakely; special cousin: Barry Smith; longtime friends/sisters: Bridgett Summers and Delores Myers; three bonus daughters: Camelia Daley, Megan Shuler and Cynthia Hampton and a host of loving cousins, and other relatives that will miss her dearly.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Friday, October 6,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 7,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 12:00pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
