Mrs. Rosa Mae Hawkins was born on July 30,1938 to Hurbert Brown, SR. and Rebecca Brown in Elloree, SC. She departed this life to be with the Lord on Monday, February 16,2026 at MUSC in Charleston, SC.
Mrs. Hawkins attended the Carver School in Cope, SC. She worked 50 years as a domestic engineer for Juluian A. Ott (Formerly Co- Owner of Marriott Hotel). She became a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church at an early age and was baptize. She served as Vice President of the Usher Ministry for 50years faithfully.
Mrs. Hawkins was preceded in death by a son Bobby Hawkins, daughter Linda Johnson, four brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Hawkins leaves to cherish her loved and memories to a son Ernest D. Hawkins, a daughter Rev. Brenda Robinson, grandchildren Christopher Muller, Joy (James) Douglas, great-grandchildren S’Mya Redmon, Lauren Muller, De’Arra Muller and Jordyn Douglas, brothers Issac Brown and Bobby (Jill) Brown, sister Clay (Treadwell) Jamison, brother-in-laws Carl Hawkins and Gerl (Gladys) Hawkins, sister-in-laws Margret Brown, Sarah Brown and Rev. Susie Washington and a host of friends and relatives.

The service will proceed as follows: 

The viewing will be held on Friday, February 20,2026 at Glover's Funeral Home from 3:00pm until 7:00pm. 

The funeral will be held on Saturday, February 21,2026 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church 351 Oak Grove Rd. Cope, SC beginning at 11:00am. 

The family will receive family and friends at the residence of her daughter Rev. Brenda Robinson 172 Dena Lane Orangeburg, SC 29115 on Wednesday, February 18,2026 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm and Friday, February 20,2026 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm.
