Life external for Deacon Ronald Stevenson, Sr. came to the world April 19, 1948 to the late Everette (Rod) and Lillie Mae Pough Stevenson in Orangeburg, South Carolina. On Tuesday Evening March 9, 2021 at 18:04 pm he entered life eternal his Heavenly Home from the Prisma Health Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.
Deacon Ronald Stevenson, Sr. was educated in the Orangeburg county schools. Early in his life he became a disciple of the Trinity Baptist Church, where he was trained as a junior deacon and served faithfully until moving to Winter Haven Florida, where he attended Antioch Missionary Baptist Church until returning to Orangeburg, South Carolina and to his home church. After joining in holy matrimony to Minister Dorothy Miller Brown he became a disciple of the Full Circle Deliverance Holiness Church and held and worked the positions of Deacon and Trustee. A diligent and dedicated worker Deacon Ronald Stevenson, Sr. was employed with the C. F. Evans Construction Company for a number of years.
Deacon Ronald Stevenson, Sr. was married for 27 BLESSED years to the former Dorothy Miller Brown.
Deacon Ronald Stevenson, Sr. was preceded in death by his son Ronald Stevenson, Jr. and two sisters Redell Stevenson Adams and Christabell Stevenson, three brothers, Bubba Stevenson, Clarence Stevenson and Isaiah Stevenson.
Deacon Ronald Stevenson, Sr. will be remembered dearly by his daughter, Ronnette Stevenson, and son Ronnie Stevenson, four Stepchildren, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren, three brothers, Eugene (Marshal) Stevenson, of Landover, Maryland, Leroy Stevenson, of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Jimmy Stevenson of Blackville, South Carolina, one Aunt, Karin Pough, four brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and dear friends.

The viewing will be held on Monday, March 15,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home at 1:00pm until 7:00pm.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 16,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. All those attending the service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations. Service will be streamed live on our Facebook Page Glover's Funeral Home of Orangeburg.
