Richard Sanders

Mr. Richard Sanders “Ricky Dikes” was born May 20, 1969 to the late Hubert and Betty Sanders. He was raised by the late Edgar and Mattie Sanders. Richard entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.
At an early age Richard join Holy Temple Church.
Richard, affectionately known as “Ricky Dikes” to be a calm and humble person. He was very helpful to others.
Richard was proceeded in death by his siblings, Marvin Sanders and James Sanders; brother-in-law, Johnnie J. Davis.
Richard leaves to cherish loving and precious memories, two brothers, Hubert Lee Sanders and Mark E. Sanders (Sharonda) both of Orangeburg, SC; three sisters; Ruby Sanders of Cordova, SC; Regina Davis and Corrine (George) Montgomery of Orangeburg, SC; a special brother-in-law whom he loved, Grover Davis of Orangeburg, SC; Three aunts: Dorothy S. Dulaney of Elloree, SC; Lorraine Shell of Cope, SC; and Barbara Sanders of Orangeburg, SC a special best friend whom he talked about daily, Brian Green aka “B.G.” of Orangeburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 14,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 15,2021 at Heavenly Rest Memorial Park beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19  rules and regulations.
