Reverend Clifford Jackson was born October 1, 1957, in Bowman South Carolina. He was the son of Ms. Mary Jackson Salley. Mr. Jackson left his labor to reward on November 28, 2022.
He was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County graduating from Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School.
Cliff later attended Claflin College in Orangeburg and joined the United States Army. He was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas and Frankfurt, Germany. He loved talking about his Army career.
Cliff was the proud father of a son, Clifford Jackson (Andrea), Jr, (Scooter) of Leander, Texas and a daughter, Jalisa Jackson of El Paso, Texas.
Clifford was a faithful member of Crawford Missionary Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia where he served as an Associate Minister until his health started to fail. Reverend Jackson loved the Lord, and he prayed, counseled people, and Study the Bible. In 2003 Reverend Jackson earned his Certificate of License into the Gospel Ministry of God, certified by the Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Augusta, Georgia.
Clifford met and married the love of his life, Ms. Frances Ayers of Orangeburg, South Carolina. They were lovingly married for sixteen years, and they along with their two grandsons, William and Roderick made their home in Evans, Georgia.
Reverend Clifford Jackson leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Mrs. Frances Ayers Jackson, Clifford (Scooter) Jackson, Jr. (Son); Jalisa Jackson (Daughter); Thomas Williams (Father) of Queens, NY; Lillian (Ray) Richardson (Sister) of Columbia, SC; Eric (Kelly) Sally (Brother) of Jersey City, NJ. Papa as he was called, leaves eight grandchildren and three stepchildren. He leaves two aunts, Eloise Williams and Lueazy Jackson of Brooklyn, NY.; two uncles, George (Janet ) Jackson, Eddie (Daisey) Jackson. Sadly, Cliff will be sorely missed by many other relatives, caring neighbors and friends.

The viewing will be held on Saturday, December 3,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
The funeral will be held on Sunday, December 4,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 2:00pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
