Pearl Elouise Russell

Mrs. Pearl Elouise Barton Russell , daughter of the late Sam and Alice Way was born on September 26, 1932 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She departed this earthly life on December 14, 2019 after an extended illness.
Mrs. Pearl was educated in the Orangeburg County School System. She was employed with the Walsh family for many years. Many found her to be soft spoke and loving. Her favorite pastime included looking at the Lifetime channel and wrestling. She had a great love for music but her great- est love was for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Alfonzo Russell, Sr. and her daughter, Annie L. Russell Felder.
She leaves to cherish one son: Mr. Adam Alfonzo, Jr. of Orangeburg, SC; one daughter: Ms. Deloris Russell of Orangeburg, SC; one sister: Mearl Way of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren: Mrs. Lorraine (Bernard) Phelps, Sr. of Orangeburg, SC, Jeffrey B. (Tamela) Russell of Gaston, SC, Mrs. Yolanda Boyles, of California and Ms. Nicole Russell of Orangeburg, SC; fourteen great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, neph- ews, cousins and other family and friends.

The services will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Glover’s Funeral Home at 2:00pm until 8:00pm. 
 

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Glover’s Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am
