Mr. Otis Keenan Barnhill, the son of the late Otis V. Barnhill, Jr. and Frances E. Barnhill, was born on June 6, 1975 in Plainfield, New Jersey. He attended Edisto High School in Cordova, South Carolina. Mr. Barnhill departed this life on September 28, 2020 in Summerville, SC.
Mr. Barnhill attended International Churches of UCI in Gastonia, North Carolina. He became a member in the 2017.
“Bigg O” as he was affectionately known as, was a very affectionate person with a big heart. He was loved by many. He was known best for his goofy smile and laughter. He truly earned the nickname “Bigg O.”
Bigg O relocated to Summerville, SC in December 2017. He started his career at the Waffle House in Orangeburg, SC 2000. From there it has taken him to restaurants in North Carolina and then to the Summer-ville/ North Charleston areas as a Master Grill Opera-tor.
Bigg O was married to Sheila D. Jefferson-Barnhill. The two join in holy matrimony on January 27, 2019 in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
He leaves fond memories to be cherished by his wife, Mrs. Sheila D. Jefferson-Barnhill; his loving mother, Frances E. Barnhill; two sons: Keenan J. Barnhill of Charlotte, NC and Tristen J. Singletary of Irmo, SC; nine stepchildren: Shaqwana Parker, Deborah Green, Quintise Green and Alvin Green all of Charlotte, NC, Doron M. Jefferson, Janay M. Jefferson, Dalvin D. Jefferson, Daysha D. Jefferson and Trenae’ A. Jefferson all of North Charleston, SC and he was blessed with thirteen grandchildren. Bigg O was blessed to remain friends with his children’s mother, Trena D. Taylor (James) of Charlotte, NC; best friend, Mike L. Fall, II of Summerville, SC and a host of brothers, relatives and close friends.

The viewing will be held on Sunday, October 4,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home at 2:00pm until 7:00pm.
The funeral will be held on Monday, October 5,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 3:00pm.
