Ojetta B. Clark

Mrs. Ojetta Brandyburg Clark entered eternal rest on Saturday morning June 12, 2021 at Jolly Acres Health Care Center. She lived a life of faith, ministry and community work.
Ojetta was the fourth child born May 11, 1932, the daughter of Jason and Rachel Brandyburg, in Bowman, South Carolina. At an early age, she joined Pineville Methodist Church. A graduate of Wilkinson High School and of Claflin College, she received a Masters Degree from Tennessee University. Ojetta also furthered her studies at Treveccan Nazarene University.
After college she married the Reverend Judge Clark, moving to Memphis Tennessee. She joined Golden United Methodist Church where she was an active member in many organizations (United Methodist Women, Missionary Work, taught Sunday School, on the trustee board, Women’s Ministry and sung on the church choir).
She had a passion and love for teaching throughout her career and wanted every child to excel and succeed in their learning in South Carolina and Tennessee. Upon her retiring she became active in tutoring students at Golden United Methodist Church.
Ojetta loved her family by showing that love of caring and compassion for us through simple acts of kindness, a honest smile and selfless deeds.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Cecille B. Adams; her nieces and nephews: Patricia Douglas of Orangeburg, SC, Wyonia Brandyburg of Columbia, SC, Phillippa Brandyburg of Hinesville, GA, Bridgett (Wesley) Guyton of North Augusta, SC, Teresa (Robert) Randolph of Raleigh, NC, Caretha Brandyburg of Stone Mountain, GA, Bernard (Helen) Brandyburg of Atlanta GA, Woody (Brenda) Brandyburg of Bowman, SC, Tyrone (Mary) Brandyburg of Flat Rock, NC, Reginald Brandyburg of Bowman, SC, Cornell (Angela) Brandyburg of Charlotte, NC, Adrian (Betty) Brandyburg of Orangeburg, SC, and Gregory Brandyburg of Stone Mountain, GA along with a host of grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 16,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home at 1:00pm-7:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 17,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
