Nathaniel Alvin Brown

Mr. Nathaniel Alvin Brown departed his life, Monday afternoon, June 12, 2023, in MUSC Health-Orangeburg, after an extended illness.
He was born in Orangeburg County to the late Summers Peter and Jessie Mae Brown.
Mr. Brown received his education in the public schools of Orangeburg and he worked until his health declined.
Nathaniel was preceded in death by one brother, George Marcus Brown, and one sister, Patricia Ann Brown.
Survivors include three sisters: Mrs. Helen L. Brown Frederick, Ms. Thelma Mae Brown, both of New York City, NY and Ms. Mildred Brown of Ruskin, FL; three brothers: Mr. Johnny Mack Brown, Mr. Melvin Brown, both of Orangeburg, SC and Mr. David Lee Brown of New York City, NY; three sister-in- laws: Dr. Elsie Brown, MSgt., USAF (RET), Mrs. Clayer M. Brown, both of Orangeburg, SC and Mrs. Mary C. Brown of New York City, NY; a close friend, Goldie Barton; a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and family.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Sunday, June 25,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home from 3:00pm until 7:00pm.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 26,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
