Micheal Brooks was called to eternal rest on Thursday, July 25,2024 at Lexington Medical Center.
He was the son of the late David L. Johnson and Rosanna B.Johnson. He was born on May 30, 1973 in Orangeburg, SC.
Micheal received his formal education from Bowman High School. At an early age he became a member at New Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was employed at Quick Mart as a custodian. Micheal enjoyed and valued being surrounded by family and friends. He was quiet, loving and easy going.
He will be remembered for his smile and contagious laugh.
Micheal accepted Christ in his life.
Micheal was preceded in death by his father David L. Johnson and one brother-in-law John Hutchinson, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories with his loving mother Rosanna B. Johnson of Orangeburg, SC; two children Hope Fredrick of Bismark, North Dakota and Mykeem Lewis of Columbia, SC; two grandchildren Tumaini and Samantha; three sisters Mary Brooks Hutchinson of Orangeburg, SC, Patricia (Vincent) Walton of Georgetown, SC and Brenda (Jorell) Walker of Columbia, SC; one brother Derwin Jones of Orangeburg, SC and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
 

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Friday, August 2,2024 at Glover's Funeral Home from 2:00pm until 6:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, August 3,2024 at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church 150 Park St. Bowman, SC 29018 beginning at 12:00noon. All those attending service must wear mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
