Michael "Magic" McDaniel, son of the late Vernon Theodore McDaniel and Mary Lee Kennerly McDaniel was born on July 22, 1955 in Orangeburg, SC. He was raised and lived there until he transitioned his earthly life on Monday, February13, 2023.
Michael "Mike" was educated in Orangeburg, County Schools: Christ The King Catholic School and Orangeburg Wilkinson High School. He graduated in 1973. After high school, Mike co-owneed Bramm's Chateau Night Club along with his mother. He pursued his passion for "DJ" working as a radio personality. He worked at WORG, State College Radio, WOKI, and at several other radio stations in and around Orangeburg. He worked along side his father at the family-owned business College Avenue Body Shop.
In addition to his parents, Michael preceded in death one sister Angela T. Gerald and one grandson Kavontea.
He leaves to cherish fond memories one brother Ronald (Ramona), one sister Barbara Cathcart. 9 Children: Avery, Toni, Nikki, Antonio, Meosha, Miguel, Fabian, Kwamaine and Tomphani
19 Grand children, 1 great grand, a beloved aunt Orisher McDaniel and a host of relatives, family and friends.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 21,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home from 2:00pm until 7:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 22,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 12:00 noon. All those attending service wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
