Mary Deloris Warren, was born on February 9, 1954 in St. Matthews, South Carolina to the late Mr. Nathaniel Young and Mary Alice Young. God called Mary home to be with Him in His Kingdom on August 10, 2021.
She was educated in the public schools of Calhoun County. An extremely hard worker, Mary was a loving and dedicated caregiver for many, many years. She was loved and cherished by many people and she never met a stranger. If you ever met her, you would never forget her, especially if you made her mad. Overall, she was so much fun to be around.
Nothing meant more to Mary than life itself. She loved her children, and doted on her 1st grandson, Antonio Thelonieus Brown, Jr., whom she always called “Her B.” In general Mary loved her family.
Those left behind to cherish her loving and fond memories are: two daughters: Vernay Levena Young of the home and Bridgette Ann Young of Columbia, SC and two sons: Matthews Sentel Warren and Terrell Lavone Warren both of the home; five brothers: Nathan (Ruthalene) Young, Sr. of St. Matthews, SC, Theron (Pricilla) Young of Orangeburg, SC, Larry (Phyllis) Young of Seattle Washington, Stanley Young of High Point, NC and Timothy (Margaret) Young of Orangeburg, SC; three sisters: Virginia (Bernard) Williams of Orangeburg, SC, Mary L. (Michael) Williams and Lanotha (Bernard) Young both of Colum-bia, SC; ten grandchildren including a special grandson, “T.B.” that she took as her own and loved unconditionally and one great-grandson along with a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and other family and friends.
