Marvin Hamilton

Mr. Marvin Hamilton, age 52, was born on January 31, 1968, in St. Mat- thews, South Carolina (Calhoun County). He was the son of Mr. Foster and Catherine Hamilton. He departed this life on Friday, September 11, 2020, at Novant Health Medical Center of Charlotte, North Carolina, after a brief ill- ness.

He was educated in the public-school system of Orangeburg, South Carolina.He graduated from Orangeburg Wilkinson “Class of 1986”. He met and mar-ried Carolyn Felder in the year of 1994. To this union two sons and one daugh- ter was born, Marvin Jeremy Hamilton, Marquay Jaquan Hamilton and Cier- ra Amarah Hamilton. He and his wife moved to Charlotte, NC in 1993, where he was employed at Mutual Distributors for 20+ years, resigning due to health issues. Mr. Hamilton was a loyal Carolina Panther’s and NASCAR fan. In his free time, he loved fishing for relaxation.

Mr. Marvin Hamilton was preceded in death by: his brother Milton Hamilton. Mr. Marvin Hamilton leaves to cherish his precious memory: Wife, Mrs. Car- olyn Hamilton; his children, Marvin Jeremy Hamilton, Marquay Jaquan Ham- ilton and Cierra Amarah Hamilton of Charlotte, NC; his father Mr. Foster Hamilton and mother, Mrs. Catherine Hamilton of St. Matthews, SC; two sis- ters Mrs. Velma Carol (Timothy) Haywood of Orangeburg, SC and Ms. Ver- netta Hamilton of St. Matthews, South Carolina; three brothers, Mr. Melvin (Linda) Hamilton of Phoenix City, Alabama, Mr. Michael (Andrea) Hamilton of Orangeburg, SC, and Mr. Kenneth Hamilton of Orangeburg, SC. In-laws; Mr. Charles (the late Mrs. Carrie Bell) Felder Sr. of Orangeburg, SC; brother- in-law, Mr. Charles (Shayla) Felder Jr. of Concord, NC; sister in-law; Mrs. Latonya (Terry) Rivers of Orangeburg, SC; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Friday,September 18,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home at 3:00pm until 7:00pm.

A graveside will be held on Saturday,September 19,2020 at Belleville Memorial Gardens beginning at 2:00pm.
