Martha Johnson

Martha H. Johnson was born on April 7,1937 in Orangeburg County to the late Otto and Learline Glover Johnson. Martha accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Andrew Baptist Church in Orangeburg, SC. She graduated from Bethune Memorial High School in Bowman, SC in 1956. She was employed in Nutrition by Jolley Acres Nursing Home until her retirement. Martha was a devoted mother and grandmother. She showed this same devotion to church by being a loyal member and mother of the church. Martha was united in holy matrimony to
James Johnson for 54 years and this union produced four children, Trent Johnson (Tammy) of Elgin, SC; Shelia Rowe of California, James L. Johnson (Claudia) of New Jersey, Deryl
Guinyard (Eddie) of Orangeburg, SC; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, Six sisters, Three brothers , a daughter in Christ Nicole Simpson Sackel, and a host of great-great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Monday, June 27,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 28,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
