Marlene "Marilyn" Darleen Brown

Marlene "Marilyn" Darleen Brown, 53, 1751 Whittaker Parkway, passed unexpectedly on December 29, 2021.

Marilyn was born on 29 August 1968 to late James Brown, Jr. and Clarcy Mae Brown in Bronx, NY. After Marilyn graduated from Orangeburg Wilkinson High School in 1986, she continued to work for Orangeburg Medical Center as a Dietician Aide for 20 years. While receiving her Certification to become a Certified Nursing Assistant online, she went on to work for Zeus Industrial as a Quality Assurance Representative for 14 years.

Marilyn was a loving mother to her only daughter, Tiara "Nikki" Brown Conner and the joy of her life, her granddaughter AaNiyah DiJae' Jackson.

She is survived by three sisters Thelma Brown Partee of Killeen, TX, Clarissa Brown of Enterprise, AL, Deirdre (Montez) Huggins of Waynesville. MI and one brother James E. Brown of Columbia, SC. Ten nieces NaTasha Brown-Patterson (Michael), Ashley Brown, Whittney Brown, Jameca Brown, NaStaija Partee, Nia Partee, JaBry Green, Monteirdre Huggins, Montaihja Huggins, and Ja Karra Brown Johnson and two nephews Montez (Jessica) Huggins and Montavious Huggins. Plus two grand nephews and seven grand-nieces.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Friday, January 7,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 8,2022b at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
