Mark Williams

Mark LeRue Williams, the son of the late Willie John Williams and Lottie Mae Stephen Williams, was born June 28, 1968, in Bamberg County. He was called into eternal rest at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) of Columbia on September 3, 2021.

He was employed at Gulbrandsen Chemicals as a chemical process operator. He graduated from Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School.

He leaves to cherish his memories: A loving beautiful daughter who he was proud of Alexus Marquetta Williams of Orangeburg, SC, a step-son Anthony Pondexter of Augusta, GA. Seven sibling: Linda (Julius) Harrison of Branchville, SC; Alberta Williams, of Palmetto, FL; Willie (Patricia) Stokes of Huntsville, ALA; Willie James Glover of Columbia, SC; LaWanda (Douglas) Jones of Manassas, VA ; Jamerrail (Carol) Williams of Branchville, SC; Joy Williams of Columbia, SC. Three grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

The service will proceed as follows:

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 10,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
