LIFE REFLECTIONS
Ms. Loubie Jean Keitt transitioned to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Richland Memorial Hospital, in Columbia S.C. She was one of five children born to the late Mose (Lizzie) Keitt.
Loubie was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County, she was a graduate of South Carolina State University with a degree in Education. She became a member of Andrew Chapel Baptist Church at an early age, Loubie was affiliated with the Sunday School and Bible Study classes.
Loubie was employed by Orangeburg School District Five for 30 years. After retirement Ms. Keitt continued to work in the school system as a substitute teacher for District five.
Ms. Keitt was preceded in death by parents Mose (Lizzie) Keitt, her daughter Jacqueline Keitt, her brother George Keitt and her sister Vernian Keitt.
Ms. Keitt leaves to cherish her precious memories; Elandres (Mack) Paul of Columbia, S.C., Four grandchildren, Nydia Sales, Michael (Sonia) Paul, Joseph (Alesha) Keitt, Sierra Paul. Five great-grands Javion, Destiny, Jante, Carrington and Madison. Bonus granddaughter Lakeisha (Donald) Phillips, and two bonus grandsons, Donald Jr., and Lawson,Two sisters, Maggie Benjamin and Geraldine (Curtis) Bonaparte. A few bonus daughters, Saundra Major Conyers and Antoinette Smith Brown, two lovely best friends Gladys Moss and Sara Funderburk, and a host of others that were near and dear to her heart.
She was loved and cherished by many.
Services for Mrs. Loubie Jean Keitt will proceed as follows:
The viewing will be Friday, May 26, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Glover’s Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will be Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Beulah Refuge Tabernacle Church of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Staff and all those attending must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
Friends may call at Glover’s Funeral Home. The family will receive limited guest due to COVID-19.
