Lloyd Evans

On Sunday, December 13, 2020, an angel of mercy came down in Buffalo, New York and carried back tow glory the soul of Mr. Lloyd “Unk” Evans. 

Lloyd, affectionately known as “Unk” was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina to the late Jeff and Susie Robinson Evans on January 11, 1963. 

He was educated in the Orangeburg County Public Schools. As he grew into adulthood, he relocated to Avon Park, Florida in the late 70s early 80s, but later returned to Orangeburg in the early 2000s only to plant his final footprints in Buffalo, NY which he considered to be home. 

Lloyd was a humble servant of others who loved to fix cars, BBQ and cook. Being a connoisseur of music, he always kept up with the latest tunes, all while keeping the latest score on his all-time favorite football team the Buffalo Bills. 

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carlis Evans and Theodore (Coretta) McRae Evans Sr. 

Lloyd leaves to mourn his wife Patsy I. Evans of Sebring, FL; daughter: Casmine C. Evans of Atlanta, GA; three stepchildren: Tina of Tampa, FL, James of Maryland and Timothy of Sebring, FL; six sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Ann (Robert) DeBold, Ms. Annette (Marvin) Bryant and Ms. Jannette (Leroy) Moultrie all of Orangeburg, SC, Ms. Lee Evans of Greenville, SC, Carolyn Evans, of Atlanta, GA, and Ms. Janie Owens, of Bolentown, SC; one brother; Mr. James (Sally) Evans of Orangeburg, SC; three grandchil-dren: Altedrius M. Evans, Bryanna S. Evans, and Jaden J. Evans all of Atlanta, GA; two aunts: Mrs. Jimmie Lou Polite of Norway, SC and Mrs. Beatrice (Luther) Todd of Buffalo, NY; two uncles: Mr. Charlie Robinson of Charleston, SC and Mr. James Robinson of Philadelphia, PA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and a very special friend Candice A. Stewart.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Saturday, January 2,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home from 11:00am until 12:30pm. 

The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 2,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 1:00pm.
