Lizzie Mae Williams Obituary

Lizzie Mae Keitt Williams, daughter of the late Richard Keitt and Wilhelmina Pinckney Keitt, was born October 29, 1944, in Orangeburg, SC, and departed this life on September 22, 2024.
She was educated in the Orangeburg County public schools. She owned and operated an in-home daycare for many years.
Lizzie married the love of her life, Marion Edward Williams, on June 12, 1965, and three children were born to this union—Jennifer Williams Dickson (Frankie), Terry Williams (Darlene), and Patricia Williams Bradley (Frank).
Lizzie was a faithful and lifelong member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She sang on the Gospel, Mass, and Inspirational Mass Choirs until her health failed.
Preceding her in death were her parents and four siblings— Willadean Keitt, Wilhemina Keitt, Julia Mae Keitt Fogle, and Richard Keitt, Jr.
In addition to her children, she leaves to cherish her memory, nine grandchildren—Rodney and Ebony Dickson, LaTonya and Alesia Bradley, and Antwan Nelson, who were reared in the home, Tamirra, Terika, and Alyssa Williams, and Chawn Collier, all of Orangeburg; twelve great grandchildren; four sisters, Letha Richardson, Bernice Butler, Mildred Starks, and Richard Mae Tyler, all of Orangeburg; two sisters-in-law, Albertha Workman of Columbia, MD and Bernice Williams of Bowie, MD; one brother-in-law, Daniel (Patricia) Williams of Lone Star; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a bonus granddaughter, Jayna` Robinson.


The service will proceed as follows:


The viewing will be held on Thursday, September 26,2024 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 6:00pm.


The funeral will be held on Friday, September 27,2024 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
