Linda Lee Moorer Obituary

Linda Lee Moorer was born on November 23, 1959 to the late Samuel and Sara Patterson. She departed this life on Monday, June 16, 2025 after an extended illness.
Linda graduated in 1978 from Edisto High School in Cordova, South Carolina. She was employed at Kimlor Mills for over 20 years and Husqvarna until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Sara Patterson, sister, Janet Bermudez and brother James Patterson, Sr.
Linda leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories, three children, Cassandra (Travis) Shuler of Jacksonville, FL, Maurice (Ashley) Moorer of Orangeburg, SC, and Shanicwa (John) Moorer of Bamberg, SC; eight grandchildren; one brother, Samuel Patterson, Jr. of Orangeburg, SC; four sisters, Mattie (Eddie) Nelson, of Columbia, SC, Mary (Byron) Bray , Beck Wright, and Sarah Mims, all of Augusta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.


The service will proceed as follows: 


The viewing will be held on Monday, June 23,2025 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 6:00pm. 


The funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 23,2025 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church 178 Woodolive Lane Orangeburg, SC beginning at 12:00noon. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
