Leroy "Roy" Calhoun

Mr. Leroy Calhoun was born June 30, 1947 in Cope, Sc. He is the son of the late Leroy Calhoun, Sr. and Alice Calhoun. He was called to heavenly rest on April 4, 2021 following a brief illness. 

Leroy received his formal education from Edisto High School. He was employed from Dempsey Dean for many years. 

Leroy married the love of his life Barbara Elmore and to this union 10 children was born. 

Leroy preceded in death by his parents: Leroy Calhoun, Sr. and Alice Calhoun. 

Leroy leaves to cherish his loving memories: his loving wife of 46 years Barbara Calhoun, 10 Children: Matthew Moultrie, Jeromy Calhoun, Tina Calhoun (Joshua Clyburn), Timothy Calhoun, Aaron (Claudia) Calhoun, Karen Calhoun, Donovan (Regina) Calhoun, Ryan (Krystal) Calhoun, Travon Calhoun and Donte Calhoun (Kaitlyn), 4 siblings: Shelly (Eddie Mae) Calhoun, Gladys (Charles) Busby, Inez Benjamin, and Gloria (Jonas) Jennings and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives that will miss him dearly.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Thursday, April 8,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home at 2:00pm until 7:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Friday, April 9,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 2:00pm.
