Leonard Omar Aiken was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 10,1974 to Elliott Aiken, Jr. and the late Leola Hardy Aiken. He entered into eternal rest on July 8,2025.
Leonard graduated from the Paul Robeson Voc. High School in Brooklyn, New York. He went on to further his education as a graduate from Claflin College. Leonard was employed by South Carolina State University as a recruiting Officer until his health failed.
Leonard was preceded in death by his mother Leola Hardy Aiken; daughter Omara Aiken; his brothers Bryan Elliott Aiken and Quinn Oman Aiken, his sister Ellen Smalls, his maternal grandparents Roy and Reatha Jennings Hardy and his paternal grandparents Elliott and Jessie Pough Aiken.
Leonard leaves to cherish his fond memories his father Elliott Aiken, Sr.; his wife Shawntika Grace-Aiken; his daughter Sheianne (Keith) Aiken; grandson Jaekaizen Laws; his brother Mark Aiken; stepdaughter Arianna Morales; a sister-in-law Romona Aiken; two aunts: Pearl (Nathaniel) Stevenson and Trudi Aiken and a host if nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The service will proceed as follows:
The viewing will be held on Friday, July 11,2025 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 6:00pm.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 12,2025 at Glover's Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
