Leafus Johnson, affectionately known as Disco, was the son of the late Solomon and Bertha Johnson. He was born January
10, 1950 in Calhoun County, South Carolina. life on October 13, 2019.
He departed this
Leafus was preceded him in death by three sisters and a grand- son.
Leafus leaves to cherish his fond memories: his wife: Ollie G. Johnson of the home; one son: George Edward Gadson of Orangeburg, South Carolina; six daughters: Leatha A. Johnson of Elloree, South Carolina, Juanita (Jerry) Richardson of Orange- burg, South Carolina, Sandra (Leroy) Palmer of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Denice Graham of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Loretta (Jerry) Richardson of Charlotte, North Carolina, Tracey (Hugo) Alvarez of Mt. Airy, Maryland; two brothers: Solomon Johnson of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Leroy (Geraldine) Johnson of Elloree, South Carolina; three sisters-in-law: Ruby (Ernest) Gilmore, of Santee, South Carolina, Rosa (Will) Riggins of Santee, South Carolina and Helen G. Gilmore of Orangeburg South Carolina; granddaughter: Ebony Joe of Spartanburg, South Carolina; god-daughter: Shawnetta Aiken, of Elloree, South Car- olina and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

The services will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held at Glover’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 1:00pm until 8:00pm. 
The funeral service will be held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church located at 178 Woodolive Street in Orangeburg, South Carolina 29118 on Thursday, October 17, 2019 beginning at 11:00am.
