Joseph Watson, Jr.

Joseph Lee Watson, Jr. son of Joseph Lee Watson, Sr. and the late Vernice Watson. Joseph was born January 10,1959 in Orangeburg, SC. He departed this life on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, SC. Joseph was a member Andrew Chapel Baptist Church. He received his diploma after graduating from Bowman High School. He attended Claflin College with a major in sociology. He was employed by Husqvarna Outdoor Products where he worked as a forklift operator. Joseph was united in holy matrimony to the former Carolyn S. Watson and to this union two children was born. Joseph leaves to cherish his fond memories: his children Christopher (Le’Tosha) Watson of Orangeburg and Travis Watson of Irmo; his father Joseph Watson, Sr.; two brothers William Watson and Dewayne Watson; seven sisters Jacqueline Watson and Carolyn (Charles) Bookard both of Bowman, SC, Josephine Antley, Vernell (Edgar) Wolf, Joanne Haynes, and Gloria Shingles all of Orangeburg, SC, Geneva Yon of North, SC; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Sunday, February 19,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 6:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Monday, February 20,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
