Johnny "Lopez" Simpson

Mr. Johnny “Lopez” Simpson, the son of the late Clarence “Buddy” Simpson, Sr. and the late Louise Jenkins-Simpson, was born on November 19, 1958 in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
Johnny attended the public school system of Orangeburg County.
Johnny entered into an eternal rest Friday, February 23, 2024 following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Simpson; and sisters, Anner Hampton & Margaret Robinson.
Johnny was a dedicated and faithful member of Mt. Sinai RMUE Church. He leaves to cherish his memories: sisters: Lois (Samuel) Johnson, Cheryl (John) Lee, both of Orangeburg, South Carolina; brothers: Warren Salley Sr., Leroy (Jonnie Mae) Salley, Clarence (Alice Faye) Simpson, Jr., Michael (Alice) Simpson, David (Sherry) Simpson, Rufus (Annie) Simpson, Ricky (Konist) Johnson, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, family, and friends that will miss him dearly.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Friday, March 1,2024 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:30pm until 6:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 2,2024 at Orangeburg Wilkinson High School Gymnasium 601 Bruin Parkway Orangeburg, SC 29115 beginning at 2:30pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
