John Henry Thomas, Jr.

Mr. John “JT Money '' Henry Thomas Jr, son of John Thomas Sr and Shirley Miller, was born July 24, 1972, in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. Family and friends affectionally knew him as “JT Money ''. John transitioned from life into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 unexpectedly at his residence, Orangeburg, SC.
John faced many challenges and adversities in his life. He was born premature, less than 3 lbs but it was destined for him to be here. He persevered and touched many lives. He attended the Orangeburg County schools and graduated from Orangeburg Wilkinson High School. He worked numerous jobs throughout his lifetime.
John attended many churches throughout his child and adult life. He loved attending New Covenant church with his fiancee and sister-in-law. When the church closed due to the Pandemic, he could not wait to return.
John unselfishly gave his time and love to those who knew him. He was a caring man, who loved his family. Even if he felt the love was not reciprocated. He always helped in any capacity that he could. He cared for his cousin and uncles during their time of illness. He loved to talk and would face-time you any time of the day or night.
John loved listening to music and having fun. He often was the life of the party. He will definitely be missed by all of his loved ones.
The sisters would like to send a special thanks to Caroline Quattlebaum, his fiancee, for loving, accepting, and never giving up on our brother.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories: his fiancee Caroline Quattlebaum, his father John H Thomas Sr, his mother Shirley (Byron) Miller, his two daughters Jasmine and Jalesha Thomas, two grandchildren Amyiah and Cali Tyler, two sisters, Yolander (Malachi) Waymer and Rochese (Lorenzo), special aunt Elorise (George) Willis, Sandra, Jerome and Tavis Quattlebaum, and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved him.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 8,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 9,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
