Mr. John E. Glover (Link) departed this life on August 27, 2020 after a brief illness. John was born January 9, 1967 to the Late Mr. Edward Glover, Jr. and Mrs. Ernestine Glover.
John is preceded in death by his siblings: Edward Glover, III, Eddie Mae, Rodney, Miesha, and Chazz.
John was devoted to his family. He loved family trips, movies and was a loyal Dallas Cowboys Fan. John love for carpentry led him to opening his own business, “The Construction Link.” His favorite form of entertainment and past time was poker with his close friends, traveling with family and friends and telling jokes. Everyone loved John for a good laugh.
John leaves to cherish his memories: his loving mother; Ernestine Glover; his loving and supporting Fiancé, Brandy Jeffcoat; his devoted children; Shakiyah (Calvin), Mikenyah (Vandross), Shaunasea (Samantha), ShaQuana (Mike), Rakeem, Ja’Kee, NyQuell, India, Asia, and Egypt; his siblings: Derrick (Viola), Nicholette, Tiesha (Kevin), Wanda (Reginald), Sonya (Sneaky), Ella, and Shameika. He also leaves to mourn his thirteen grandchildren who loved and cherished him dearly; Jameriyah, Johntarius, Brice, Khalia, Mckenzie, Calvin, Chase, Gradyn, Grayson, Jayden, Eli, and Shaunasea Jr.; his caring and loving Aunts and Uncles; close friends: Rodney Glover, Louis Sprinkle, Courtney McClorin, Leon Lucas, Reggie Jones, Kelvin Byrd and Joseph Ayers; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The service will proceed as follow:
The viewing will be held on Friday,September 4,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home at 12:00pm until 7:00pm.
A graveside service will be held on Sandy Run Cemetery in Bowman,SC beginning at 11:00am.Services will be streamed live on our Facebook page Glover's Funeral Home of Orangeburg. All those attending must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
