Joesph William Dinkins

Joseph William Dinkins was born on November 29, 1985 at McCleod Hospital in Florence, South Carolina to his parents, Ms. Bettye Dinkins and Mr. Charles Robinson. Joseph departed this earthly life on September 19, 2020. 

“JW” or “Dub” as he was affectionately known, was raised in Florence, SC. He attended Florence District 1 schools, until he relocated to Orangeburg, SC in 1998 with his mother Bettye. Joseph then moved to Savannah, GA in 2018. Joseph loved working on cars and his favorite football team was the Indianapolis Colts. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Charles Robinson. 

Joseph, “JW” leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother, Bettye Dinkins; children: Zaniyah Tiajah Dinkins, Cajmeir Diajane’ Dinkins, J’Kwon Wykeil Dinkins, JaNaysia WyKima Dinkins, Zaradiya Denise Sherman and Christopher Tai’John Mack; sisters: Jessica Dinkins, Kalemia Rembert, Shavonne Gass and Jahada Singletary; brother: Charles (Lisa) Ross; Joseph also leaves behind three special nieces and a nephew that he loved as his own: Christopher J. Dinkins, and Lexus and Armani Dugar. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends to cherish his memories. “JW” will be missed by many.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Friday,September 25,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home at 1:00pm until 7:00pm.

The service will be held on Saturday,September 26,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. Services will be streamed live on our Facebook page Glover's Funeral Home of Orangeburg. All those attending must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
