Jimmy Oliver

Mr. Jimmy Oliver, son of the late James Oliver, Sr. and the late Julia Lee Murchison Oliver, was born September 25, 1950, in North, South Carolina. Jimmy departed this life on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, S. C.
Jimmy was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County. After high school he earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Claflin College in Orangeburg, SC in 1983. He was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church. And after committing over 30 years to Zeus Industries Products, Inc. he retired in 2016. His hobbies included watching football and doing taxes.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories – his wife, Yvette Oliver of North, SC; four children, Angel and Gregory M. Oliver of North, SC, Stephanie L. Rogers of Columbia, SC and Jamel Dash of Woodford, SC; three sisters, Willie M. Dixon and Julia Summers of North, SC, Bobbie J. Oliver of Orangeburg, SC; three brothers, Joseph Oliver of Orangeburg, SC, Michael Oliver of North, SC and Rodney Oliver of Columbia, SC; numerous grandchildren; one uncle, James Sackel of Orangeburg of SC; four aunts, Angeline Edmonds and Lula M. Goodley of North, SC, Angeline Sackel of Orangeburg, SC and Lucille Russell of Philadelphia, PA; nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and friends.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Tuesday,July 6,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home at 1:00pm until 7:00pm.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday,July 7,2021 at Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery beginning at 11:00am.
