Sgt. Jeron Treville Johnson was born to Evangelist Rutha Johnson in Bamberg, SC on April 17,1976. He passed away on October 30,2025 at the home.
He was educated in the public schools of Bowman and graduated from Bowman High School in 1995. At an early age he joined Antioch Baptist Church. When he returned home he attended Powerhouse of Deliverance Miracle Holiness Church.
He enlisted in the US Army in 1995 starting his basic training at Fort Campbell, KY. His service continued with him finishing and graduating from Primary M.O.S School as 919k20 M-1 Armor Crewman as a tanker. His first tour of duty was when he was deployed to Bosnia. After that tour, he was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. He started another tour of duty deploying to Iraq with the Fourth Infantry Division and was promoted to the rank of Sergent (SGT). He received his first purple heart after two injuries.
Jeron leaves to cherish his memories- One son; Canaan Johnson of Riesel, Texas, his mother, Rutha Johnson of Bowman, SC, One sister; Sasha Johnson of Columbia, SC and one brother; James (Verna) Johnson of Houston Texas, host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
The service will proceed as follows:
The viewing will be held on Thursday, November 6,2025 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 6:00pm.
The funeral will be held on Friday, November 7,2025 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am.
