James Lamont Johnson, son of James and Willie Ann Pelzer Johnson was born on January 30, 1983 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He was called home to eternal rest on Tuesday night, December 31, 2024. Lamont as he was affectionately known, attended Bethune Bowman High School.
Lamont was employed by Husquvarna.
Survivors include his parents James & Willie Ann Pelzer Johnson of Bowman; fiancé, April Pam; one daughter, Talysia Johnson of Columbia, South Carolina; one brother Vincent Deon Johnson of Bowman, South Carolina; one sister Bridget and James Brown of Opaka, Florida; Aunts: Rose B. McCleaney of Richmond Hill, New York, Henrietta P. And James Mackey of Ballwin, Missouri, Paraleas Goodwin, Marietta Payne, Gloria and David Barnes all of Orlando Florida. Uncles: Willie and Vivian Johnson of Charleston, South Carolina, and Johnnie Pelzer of Atlanta, Georgia. God-Mother, Willie Dean Odom of Orangeburg, South Carolina, godsisters, god-brothers, nephews, and a host of caring relatives and friends.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Saturday, January 4,2025 at Glover's Funeral Home from 12:00pm until 6:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, January 5,2025 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 1:30pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
