Isaac Coleman, Jr.

Isaac “BEAT” Coleman Jr.- loving father, grandfather, and friend passed away at home in Bowman, SC, on Saturday, July 23, 2022.
Isaac was born to Isaac “Ike” and Dorothy “Dot” Coleman in Orangeburg, SC, on June 21, 1952. He attended Orangeburg Public Schools and in the early 70s, discovered his niche for driving trucks. He drove the Big Riggs for 50 years. He started his 50-year career in interstate and local trucking and went by the handle “Purple Rain”.
Through the years Isaac “BEAT” enjoyed fishing, watching big water fishing shows, and grilling. He loved talking with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Isaac Coleman Sr., mother Dorothy Mae Coleman and his brother Andrew Coleman.
Isaac “BEAT” is survived by his wife Cynthia; his children Kecia Collier {Stanley Collier}, Lynette Coleman-Makle (Derrel Makle), Anthony Felder and Antwan Felder. 13 grandchildren: Lorenzo, Johnathan, Brittne, Delmazeo, Jamauri, Aaliyah, Antoine, Derrel Jr., Keshawn, Savannah, Zora, Oriana and Knowledge; 19 great-grandchildren. Three sisters: Laura Mae, Josephine, and Cassandra; two brothers: Samuel and Henry (Sabrina) , and a host of other relatives and friends that’s will miss him dearly..

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 27,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 28,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
