Mr. Ira Lee (RED) Craft, Sr. was born on January 25, 1932, in Richland County, where he attended school. He was united in holy matrimony to Sadie (Dawkins) Craft and cherished 56 years of
marriage. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Audrey V. Buskey Craft, his lovely wife, and his youngest son, Brian Sherard Craft.
Mr. Craft was a long-time member of Andrew Chapel Baptist Church. He was employed by Sox & Freeman Tree Expert Company through the City of Orangeburg, as a tree surgeon.
He leaves to cherish loving memories: his Son, Anthony (Janice) Craft of Irmo, South Carolina, a daughter, Willerdine Blue of Atlanta, Georgia, and a son, Ira L. (Debra) Craft of St. Mary’s, Georgia; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and close family friends.
