Herman Calvin Harrison was born on October 24th, 1961, in Orangeburg, SC to Shellie Harrison Jr and Ruby Lee Harrison. He entered into enteral rest on July 18th, 2024, at his place of residence.
Herman attended Wilkinson High School and graduated in the class of 1980. He worked at Husqvarna Outdoor Products {AYP} and Decolam Warehouse for many years where people described him as a hard and dedicated worker. He was known as a loving person who enjoyed joking, spending time with family and watching sports. His favorite sport teams are the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Bulls.
Herman was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Larry W. Mack of Orangeburg, SC.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories to his parents and nephew of the home.
Herman is survived by one brother: Shellie Clay {Michelle} Harrison and three sisters: Ruby {Melvin} Harrison, Valerie {Dwayne} Harrison-Mack and Gennifer Harrison all of Orangeburg, SC. Five nephews: Larry Harrison of Orangeburg, SC, Quentin {Patrice} Harrison of Grovetown, GA, Antonio {Teresa} Harrison, Sheldon Harrison of Orangeburg, SC and Rayshawn Harrison of the home. Three nieces: Rahneika Allen, Shakeya {Denzelle} Robinson and Ja’Myia Jackson all of Orangeburg, SC. Four grandnieces: Lakevia Smith of Santee, SC, Samiya Shumpert of Orangeburg, SC, Kyrah Harrison of Columbus, GA and Ocean Harrison of Grovetown, GA. Two grandnephews: Jaytwain Shumpert of Orangeburg, SC and Kingston Clark of Atlanta, GA. Six special friends: Josephine Cain, Marcus Corley, Earl Fresner, Lakeshia Shumpert, BJ and Lynn Polite all of Orangeburg, SC and in addition a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends that loved him dearly.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Thursday, July 25,2024 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 6:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Friday, July 26,2024 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
