A Time To Be Born:
Herman affectionately known as “Bubba” was born on Thursday, August 3, 1944, to the parents of the late Cleveland Frazier and the late Queen Esther Frazier in Cordova, SC.
A Time to Learn and Work:
Herman attended the public schools of Orangeburg County and graduated from G. W. Carver High School in 1954.
A Time For Labor:
Herman’s love for people and helping others lead to his employment at the MJG Nursing Home in Brooklyn, New York. He later retired in August 2007.
A Time For Leisure:
Herman always loved to travel. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends around the block; this was always the best. His favorite past -times included Bowling which he was a part of a Bowling League (MJB Team), watching football (Dallas Cowboy) and baseball (New York Yankees) and handling numbers (He was a numbers guy).
A Time For Worship:
Herman joined the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He was later baptized in the name of Our Father, His Son and the Blessed Holy Spirit.
A Time For Family To Celebrate His Life:
Ensuring his well lived 81 years of life will not be forgotten are two daughters: Jacqueline (Gregory) Cannon-Mink and Cheryl Wallace of New York and three sons: Bennie (Tammy) Busy and Robert Eugene Fedd of South Carolina and Kevin Andrew Wallace of New York. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren will remember him fondly.
He also leaves his brothers, Harold Frazier, Roosevelt (Maggie) Frazier, Alexander (Wanda) Frazier, Sheldon Frazier, Nathaniel Frazier; his sisters Ann (Carey) Ryant and Estelle Johnson. Remembering him fondly is his in-law, Charlotte Frazier. Herman also leaves his cousins, nephews, nieces as well as a special friend Barbara Deese to remember him in their special way.
A Time To Reunite:
Herman was welcomed into his Father’s kingdom by his parents, Cleveland and Queen Esther, his brothers, Jerry, Charles, Isaac, Wilbur, Artis, James and his sisters Janie Clay, Rebecca, Lillie, Queen Elizabeth and Annie Louise.
A Time For Reward:
Our Lord and Savior Father commanded Herman’s journey on this side with us completed and rewarded with eternal rest on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Nursing Facility of Brooklyn, NY after an extended illness. Herman transitioned peace fully and gracefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched but shall never be forgotten.
The service will proceed as follows:
The viewing will be held on Friday, April 10,2026 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 6:00pm.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 11,2026 at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church 806 Elder Branch Rd. Cordova, SC 29039 beginning at 11:00am.
