Henry C. Shivers

Henry Shivers, 70 of Orangeburg, South Carolina entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 7,2023. He was a devoted loving husband, father, grandfather great grandfather, brother and friend.

Henry Colton Shivers was born in St. Matthews, SC to Idella Hickson Shivers Coleman and Virgil Capers Shivers on February 9, 1953. While at a young age Henry met the love of his life in 1966 Inell Mitchell & they join union on December 18,1969. Henry attended St.John High School and later retired from Money & Jim Rass Farm of Cameron, SC and Orangeburg Preparatory School of Orangeburg, SC.

He was preceded in death by his parents Idella Hickson Shivers Coleman, Virgil C. Shivers, and brother Virgil C. Shivers Jr. (Booda).

He leaves to cherish his wife Inell Shivers, 4 children; Patricia Ann Shivers of Orangeburg, SC, Tiffancy Renee Howell(Mickel Howell) of Augusta, GA, Oneather Shivers of Orangeburg, SC and Catherine Williams( Craig Williams) of Charlotte, NC; 7 grandchildren Kinu Sabb, Shanell Howell, Mickel Howell Jr. , Raheēm Shivers, Kimani Shivers, Caden Williams and Caleb Williams; 4 Great grandchildren Maya Howell, Lamar Howell, A’Ja Milhouse and Kastro Milhouse; 1 brother Herman Lee Shivers(Jannie Mae Shivers) of Orangeburg,SC; 2 sisters Virgina Daniels(Matthew C. Daniels Jr.) of Wilmington, Delaware and Delane Shivers of Wilmington, Delaware ; 3 brother in laws Ronald Mitchell of Yonkers, New York,Bernnie Mitchell of Brunswick,Georgia and Kelly Mitchell of Orangeburg,SC; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Thursday, October 12,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Friday, October 13,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 1:00pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
