Mr. Harold “Blinky” Bellinger was the son of the late Isaiah Bellinger and the late Louise Washington Bellinger. Harold was born on August 19, 1942 in Orangeburg County. Harold departed this life Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at home surrounded by family and friends.
Harold was educated in the Orangeburg Public Schools. He lived on Sunny Side most of his young life. Harold worked as a maintenance worker at Orangeburg Country Club for 50 years and retired in 2015. He enjoyed fishing.
Harold was married to his loving wife Shirley Bellinger for 53 years.
Harold was preceded in death by two sisters: Mildred Canady and Rosa Lee Wright; four brothers: Joseph Carmichael, Willie Bellinger, David Bellinger, and Jimmie Bellinger; and one daughter, Essie Bonaparte.
Survivors include: loving wife of 53 years Shirley Bellinger of Orangeburg; four daughters: Darol Felder and Harriet Hills, both of Orangeburg, Cassandra (Bobby) Bellinger-Hudson and Ebony (Benny) Hanes, both of Raleigh, NC; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, one special niece, Linda Bellinger Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 4,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home from 11:00am until 3:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 5,2023 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 12:00pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
