Mrs. Gladys Mae Williams Harrison was born July 4, 1941 in Durham North Carolina, to the late Gladys Williams. She was raised by the late Nora McMichael from the age of three years old.
Gladys was educated in the Northfield School System in Norway, SC. She attended Nursing School in Miami, Florida where she resided for several years before returning to SC.
She joined Canaan United Methodist Church at an early age where she was the President of the Usher Board and the United Method-ist Women’s Group. Gladys was also a member of Queen Victoria #2 Order of the Eastern Star of Orangeburg, SC. Later in life she joined Warren Chapel Baptist Church where she was also a mem-ber of the Usher Board.
Gladys worked at Orangeburg Garment Industrial, Hamricks and St. Matthews Manufactory as a very good presser.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter: Teressa Harrison; granddaughter: Shykimia Holman; brother: John Wil-liams and her adopted mother: Gladys Mack.
Gladys’ memories will be cherished especially by her husband Andrew Harrison; two loving daughters: Barbara (Terry) Polite of Orangeburg SC and Neressie (Danny) Davis of Cope SC; one son: Andrew Tyrone Harrison of Orangeburg SC; one sister: Pearl Ester Brown of Miami FL; one brother: John (Javiena) Williams of Chicago IL; five half-brothers: Winfield (Penny) Mack of Stock-bridge GA, Bernard Mack of Lilburn GA, John Henry (Josie) of Orangeburg SC, Robert (Bernette) McMichael of Port Orchard WA, and Kenneth Mack of Orangeburg SC; one sister-in-law: Jimmie Lou Harrison of Orangeburg SC; two loving grandchildren of the home: Anthony Nelson and Fantasia Polite; five special grandchildren Danny (Cassie) Davis, Jr. of Rhode Island, Kelvin (Stephanie) Davis of Willington VA, Dominic (Dernasha) Davis of Cope SC, Brittany Hall of Atlanta GA, and Sincere Robbs of Lynchburg, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She also leaves a dear friend, Ms. Annie Mae Franklin of Orangeburg SC.

The viewing will be held on Friday, July 24,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home at 2:00pm until 7:00pm.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 25,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 2:00pm.
