Obituary
Mr. George Dash son of the late Evangeline Dash and Willie Oliver born on February 7, 1951 in Orangeburg, SC. He entered into eternal life on July 25, 2022 in Lithonia, Georgia.
George was a member of Old Mount Zion Baptist Church in Orangeburg, SC. He was educated in Orangeburg Public School system. He was a self-employed plumber.
George was preceded in death by his parents: Evangeline Dash and Willie Oliver, his stepfather: George Stevenson, sister: Hattie Dash-Jamison and brother: Freddie Dash.
George leaves to cherish his fond memories one sister: Sheila Dash of Lithonia, GA; one brother: Bernard Dash and one sister-in-law: Gloria Dash both of Orangeburg, SC; a long-life partner: Cathermae White of Orangeburg, SC; three special friends: Michael Reed and Larry Jackson both of Orangeburg, SC and Margie Hines of Lithonia, GA; a personal chief: Gail Jones of Lithonia, GA; three girls he raised in the home: Dametria White, Danetria White and Chyna White and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The service will proceed as follows:
The viewing will be held on Friday, July 29,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 30,2022 at Sunnyside Cemetery beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
