Gennifer Ann Harrison was born on April 30th, 1967, in Orangeburg SC to Ruby Lee & Shellie Harrison, Jr. She departed this life peacefully on October 15th, 2024, at her place of residence. She attended Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School, where she graduated in the class of 1985. Gennifer was known as a loving spirit who enjoyed taking pictures, hanging out with family & friends, cooking and dancing. She always had her signature smile on her face every time you saw her. She worked with the Calhoun County Disability Board for 5 years and later spent 17 years working as a supervisor at Claflin University Dining Hall. Her coworkers & the students described her as a dedicated hard worker who would go above & beyond and was known to everyone as “Ms. Jen”.
She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, William Larry Mack, one brother, Herman Harrison, and one best friend, Marilyn Brown all of Orangeburg SC.
She is survived by two daughters: Shakeya {Denzelle} Robinson of Orangeburg, SC & Ja’Myia Jackson of the home; Two sisters: Ruby Ann Harrison & Valerie Harrison- Mack of Orangeburg, SC; One brother: Shellie Clay {Michelle} Harrison of Orangeburg, SC; Two nieces: Rahneika Allen of Columbia, SC & Tierra Conner of Orangeburg, SC; Five nephews: Larry Harrison of Orangeburg SC, Quentin {Patrice} Harrison of Grovetown, GA, Antonio {Teresa} Harrison, Sheldon Harrison & Rayshawn Harrison all of Orangeburg, SC; Five grandnieces: Lakevia Smith of Santee, SC, Samiya Shumpert & AaNiyah Jackson of Orangeburg, SC, Kyrah Harrison of Columbus, GA & Ocean Harrison of Grovetown, GA; Two grandnephews: Jaytwain Shumpert of Orangeburg, SC & Kingston Clark of Atlanta, GA; Seven special friends: Patricia Ryant, Joyce Hallmon, Teresa Lee, Sylvia Sparks, Linda Miller, Barbara Brown and Annette Jefferson all of Orangeburg, SC and in addition a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends who loved and will miss her dearly.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Monday, October 21,2024 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 6:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 22,2024 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 1:00pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
