Mrs. Flora Anderson Haire passed away at MUSC Charleston on March 2, 2026 to be with the Lord. Her memory will be touched by many who knew her. She was married to Lawrence Haire 29 years.
Mrs. Flora Anderson Haire was born October 7, in Calhoun County. She was the daughter of James Anderson, Sr. and Williemeaner Wolfe. She had five siblings: James Anderson, Margaret Everett, and Harry Lee Anderson who preceded her in death.
She was a 1957 graduate of Wilkinson High School. After graduating, she went to New York to work. In 1973, she returned to Orangeburg, South Carolina due to her mother’s illness. She was a seamstress and worked in Orangeburg at Orangeburg Garment, Fiskars, Billy Kay’s and Amblers. She graduated from Wilkinson High School and United Christian College and Bible Institute.
Flora was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three siblings, great nephew, and great niece.
Flora leaves to mourn her memories: one daughter, Sanorthty A. Hampton; one nephew Anthony J. Anderson (Carolyn), reared in the home. Two grandchildren: Jahrae Hampton (Kyna) of Leo, Indiana and Nakeila Johnson (Charles) of Blythewood, South Carolina; one brother Frank A. Wolfe of Rock Hill, South Carolina; one sister Betty Crawford of Bronx, New York, and one brother-in-law Bernard Haire. Five great-grandchildren: Nadiya R. Harrison, Mattilyn Johnson, Khylen Hampton, Kamryn Johnson, and Karter Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The service will proceed as follows: 

The viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 10,2026 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 6:00pm. 

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 11,2026 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am.
